MY STORY
My background lies in the notarial profession, while my artistic journey began in the world of classical ballet. Over time, a deep connection with nature became the heart of my inspiration – shaping the poetic forms that define my work.
What I create unfolds as a subtle dialogue between flavour, emotion, and sculptural expression. Each piece is shaped by hand through delicate techniques – from chocolate sculpting and palette knife textures to edible painting and fragile floral compositions – forming a language of their own. Through this process, I seek to capture a fleeting moment: one that invites stillness, wonder, and a deeper way of looking.
I hold a deep appreciation for those who notice subtlety, and who sense the quiet beauty that lives within the details.

Mauritshuis in The Hague
My story of The Swan began last year, when I responded to an open call from the Mauritshuis in The Hague. Artists were invited to create their own interpretation of Vermeer’s iconic ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring’. Drawn to the painting’s quiet beauty, I created The Swan – a delicate sculpture in white chocolate, shaped to capture its soft play of light, subtle tones, and timeless elegance. This piece weaves together my love for ballet and art, reflecting the grace and fragility of the swan – much like the painting itself.
My creation was exhibited in both museums!
